We are chef owned and operated. James hails from the lower cape. He has been in the restaurant business since he was 14. He has worked tirelessly on his craft for almost 3 decades. Tanya is a native and her family has deep roots on the Island. Her credentials in the culinary industry are deep and varied as well. She has also perfected her craft.
The pizza we bring to you is an old time recipe that James came across working in a little place on the lower cape named The Binnacle. Sadly the Binnacle closed it’s doors a while back. There were two restaurants on the same property. The other was named The Arbor. They were both well known for incredible food in a very eclectic environment. James had the great fortune to work as chef here from 2000′ to 2005′. The pizza won best pizza outer cape multiple years in a row. Over time he has tweaked the recipe to be his own. The grinders have been custom tailored and are produced on fresh bread trucked in daily from Rhode Island.
Tanya is well known for her years of service at Mocha Motts and especially noted for her work at the Scottish Bakehouse. Her pastries are incredible, her cakes are amazing and her vast knowledge of gluten free baking sets her apart from the rest. Together they have teamed up to create this unique blend of the cape and islands. They recently had a baby boy they named Wolfgang, aka Wolfie. The Wolf’s Den is a culmination of lifetime work and won’t disappoint. Quality home made food at a reasonable price, served with a smile!
